About CodeWorks Software
CodeWorks started while I was designing and managing a data warehousing project for Cabletron Systems. In the big networking war, Cabletron was betting on hubs and moving towards switching, and this equally sized company called Cisco, felt that routers were the way to go. I think we know who won that war. Having worked at consulting firms for my entire career, I jumped at an opportunity to go independent and over 6 years later, I am still enjoying my independence.
Though based out of New Hampshire, I've taken care of clients in many states, to include Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and lately Arkansas. Being from the mid west originally, I'm capable of translating New Englander, Southern, Western, and can even manage Long Islander, and the most difficult Southy (South Boston). At one point on a contract I had to translate between a Southy engineer and a manager from Alabama.
My resume includes the typical laundry list of languages and technologies. I state my specialties in database systems, java frameworks, and architecture, however my broad background allows me to work in many areas. I pride myself on figuring out problems, when most folks have thrown their hands up in frustration. Re-architecting systems is a particular favorite. My focus is never on 'how did things get this way', but more on 'where do we want to get to'.
For folks that have an interest in my services, feel free to drop me an email or give me a call, and we can discuss your issues, and how to move them forward.
Todd.
